Moderate SNOW accumulations are expected to affect travel conditions above about 4000 feet in southern and central CA, above about 5000 feet in NV, UT, northern AZ, and through the mountains of western CO, southern ID, and northwest NM. Accumulations will be between 4 and 8 inches in most of these locations with even heavier accumulations expected above 7000 feet. Watch for significantly reduced visibilities in heavier showers and slick spots on roads.

Light SNOW will fall through the lower elevations of CA, NV, northern and central AZ, UT, ID, WY, western MT, and interior sections of WA and OR. Be cautions in these areas as roads will be slick in spots. Less than 4 additional inches of snow is expected to accumulate in these areas.

Light to moderate SHOWERS will be found through portions of WA, OR, ID, UT, MT, WY, and NV. Watch for minor ponding of water on roads.

WINDS will gust to over 40 mph through portions of OR, WA, UT, ID, NV, CA, and western MT.
